R.I.P FTN or not?

As Anthrax posted on the last page, the money that was needed came in, and the paypal link has been removed. This wasn't a scam, stunt, or anything else shady. Paypal seized their funds and they needed to scramble. Good people came through for something they care about.

Thumbs up to those who rose to the occasion; a different finger to those throwing around accusations and unnecessary drama...:dry:

Does NOT matter,F*N like a lot of Trackers need $$$ to survive for their Server's cost monthly.:yup:

In all my years @ F*N, Never have I sen them pitching so hard for Donations lately. Times must be bad...
 
I never put into question the validity of PayPals deletion of FTNs account, merely pointing out that the user base does not have an obligation to donate for its survival. Businesses shut down everyday, because their customers have consumer freedom to buy elsewhere (or in this case to donate).

That's why I made this final line...

The tone was a bit odd/off, but I am still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. All of the negativity that forms in a thread like this cannot help a site owner get through tough times.

It is as if a certain portion of the community enjoys seeing sites fail. That's quite f'd up, if you ask me.
 
Brandon (if you're reading), if you haven't yet opened a new pp account successfully, just speak to other staffers, there IS a way to do anonymous paypal, it's tricky but it's possible. PM me if you want some info, I myself have worked it out successfully. Wouldn't be surprised if others have already contacted you with the info you need to get a (new) paypal (account) working again, if you haven't already done so.

No complaints about them asking for money?

No census from multiple forums to put up numbers for them?

No poll for them?

Oh and P.S. I do run a tracker and we've been around almost 6 years now lmao, so much for what you know........
