Yes, there was a push for donations last month, but that could be the reason why paypal decided to look into the account.

There are less than 5000 members on the site. That means that the server costs are relatively small. The 300% (3X) that small amount may have brought in a couple thousand dollars- hardly enough to close a site that has been built and staffed for the past 4 years...

This is a short-term problem that Brandon believes he has already solved.

What do you want, reciepts and SS's of bank statements? Theres no easy way to proove any of this without exposing sensative information. If you didn't donate, its none of your business. If you did donate, then you put your trust into the tracker staff to do what is appropriate with the donations as they see fit. If you don't trust the answers given, as said before, delete your account. Problem solved.

Hey guys,

I felt I'd make this a new news post so you were all aware in case you don't use the index page as your bookmark.

The good news is, we're still here! We've setup a new paypal account, and were loaned the money for the server that was supposed to go down today.

So what happens next? Well.. Since we had to start with a fresh account and our previous funds are frozen in the old account.. we've pretty much got 0 funds, so ftn is now in your hands. If you can help, we'd absolutely appreciate it. Please don't feel obligated though, at the end of the day this is still just a website and I don't want ftn to be the cause of you going hungry. But keep in mind, we need to pay our bills before the first of May.

Brandon (if you're reading), if you haven't yet opened a new pp account successfully, just speak to other staffers, there IS a way to do anonymous paypal, it's tricky but it's possible. PM me if you want some info, I myself have worked it out successfully.
