r.i.p. A7X's Rev

After the 90's i unfortunatley became more of a fan of rap. After hearing City of Evil, i regained my faith in modern rock music, partly because of the amazing drumming of the Rev.

He died on 12/29/09 of "natural causes" probably coke and **** but he will surley be missed, at least if only by me. Probably the best modern drummer in metal out there and it's a damn shame he's gone now.

If anybody gives a **** post your respect here and if not don't bother posting at all. R.I.P. to one of the best up and coming drummers and probably the best drummer of the 00's!

Why post anything negative at all in this thread? Save it for the A7X thread, no need to bash, the kid is dead your opinions on the banRAB music is irrelevant.

Me and all of my frienRAB were just sooo heart broken when we heard the news last Monday. This band is one of those banRAB that brought me and most of the people I've met in my life together and became frienRAB. This is a terrible loss and my heart is with the guys and their families!

Afterlife was an ironic song, considering what is was written about and that it was written by him. Apparently though, they did finish writing the new album with the rev, so we can all enjoy one cd more of original work with Jimmy.

Avenged Sevenfold has been one of my favourite banRAB for years and I was very saddened when I heard this news a few weeks ago and it makes me feel very lucky to have seen them live in 08 but sad that it'll never be the same 5 guys on stage again.

M Shadows gave us an update saying that they have to finish the album that Jimmy wrote to dedicate to him but after that they are unsure.

Being an inspiring drummer, it was really hard for me when he died. My favorite modern drummer by far, favorite band also. Love you Rev RIP.

My girlfriend was completely heartbroken over this since avenged sevenfold is one of her favorite banRAB, but yeah it's sad to see him go at such a young age.
