QWest ppc6700 onto cricket

Hey everyone! I have a QWest PPC6700 and Im trying to get it onto cricket. The MSL code is not 000000 though. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this code? I have the data cable, and I have called them numerous times trying to get the code out of them with no luck... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Im sorry...It is a Sprint 6700. Do I still need to obtain the SPC code to load my cricket PRL?

yes if its sprint you have to unlock it first.

Are you able to unlock it with BitPim?

If you know linux, you can get your SPC without having to call Sprint... otherwise, you're screwed and will have to call to get it.

Ok, Ive been reading on the sprint forums and the people over there KEEP saying that im screwed and this is impossible with CDMA phones. I know this is incorrect because I have moved verizon phones over to cricket. Am I able to access the MSL with PST? Can someone please point me in the right direction... And I do use linux on a regular basis so please post back.

And jammis, I don't know how you got the MSL without calling or using a BitPim hack... I did tons of searching on the subject... and the above post worked flawlessly and it wasn't hard to do at all.

I may end up doing it again... because I lost the stupid paper where I wrote it down. Oops. LOL.

There are drivers for windows to use bitpim in windows so you dont have to use linux its posted everywhere already. Search

you can also use a program called msl reader... all you need is the drivers for your phone.

Thanks for the tip but I can't use the search engine... it keeps going out of bounRAB and puking on the PHP script. So its useless. But then again... this is a vB forum so I didn't expect anything less.
