Quickly 'Mark' sms messages to delete on Nokia E61

Not sure if you guys know this, but if you hold down the 'up arrow' key on your E61 and click the joystick or move it up/down, you can mark the messages in your inbox for deletion. This sure saves time on going to options each time to mark each message.
