Quickfire Hard Reset?

I work for an AT&T Authorized Agent and a customer has brought in an AT&T Quickfire that's asking for a password and they don't know the password. None of the usuals (0000, 1111, 1234) work, they can't figure it out (using birthdays, etc) and for some reason, no matter how many times I enter the code incorrectly it won't ask for a PUK.

Does anybody know a button combo or something to hard reset the quickfire and hopefully bypass the phone lock? Any help would be greatly appreciated by myself and the customer!

Soft reset

To soft reset the device, remove and re-insert the battery.


Master reset

IMPORTANT: The device will be set back to factory settings; all data stored on the device will be lost.
1.From the standby screen, tap the Menu icon.
2. Scroll to and select Settings
3. Scroll to and select Security
4. Scroll to and select Master Reset
5.Select Yes.
6.Enter password, press Done.
NOTE: Default password is 0000
7.The device will perform the reset and reboot.
NOTE: The device will automatically reset and may not function for up to 15 minutes following the master reset.

If that password is not the correct, They would need to contact PCD tech support @ Toll-free: 1-800-229-1235
 
The phone has been recalled cause its got problems out the wazhoo, have them call warranty at 800-801-1101 and get different phone :)
 
No matter what i do i cant get past entering the 4 digit password on the at&t quickfire!! I bought it and cant unlock the damn handset!!! Not 0000 or 1234 or 1111, nothing!!!!! Some1 please help! The "soft or hard" resets are impossible bcuz i cant get 2 anything! And when i take the battery out it just asks for the 4 digit pswd!? *pulling my hair out!!*
 
the at&t device tutorial said the initial pw is eight zero's...if you bought it from someone it may have it on it already, if so and they don't know it you're pretty much stuck.
