I've been making the quick cook oatmeal for my family recently but I've heard that you are suppose to use the long cook (large flake) oatmeal as it is suppose to be healthier? Are we not getting all the benefits of eating oatmeal whether its the quick cook or long cook? Isn't the quick cook the same thing just ground up? We're always so rushed for time in the morning, I really don't want to switch to the large flake (and I'm not sure my two year old will like it as much).
If anyone can clarify this for me I'd appreciate it!
just wanted to add....I'm not feeding the instant kind with all the sugar added. It is the stove top cook kind - one minute version.
