How does my routine sound?
Phase 1- drills
1. Sprints-30 minuts
2. Suicides-30 minutes
3. shooting- 1 hour
4. ball handling 1 hour
5. defense- stealing, slides 1 hour
6. vertical training explosiveness- 30minutes-1 hour
7. driving in- 30 minutes
Phase 2- incorporating drills into game like situations
1. try to break past defender without ball off the screens which will test speed
2. get an obstacle which is really tall and try to shoot over it which will be like a defender
3. Get a defender to play full court press and steal ball from me
4. another drill where you have 5 seconds to make a shot which will test your clutch abilities
5. play defense on someone and try to shut them down
6. post up and try to go inside which will test your explosiveness.
Phase 3- play against better people
Whatever areas of the game we're not able to execute against them we will work harder and make sure we can execute it against them the next time
