quick basketball question?

Since 9th grade, I always wanted to make the nba and dreamed of it. I used to practice every week in 9th grade and I used to get straight A's. This year however(10th grade), my parents aren't allowing me to play basketball. The only thing I can do is watch TV and stuff but I can never go outside to play basketball unless it is a like a holiday type thing. I am tired of constantly staying in the house while my friends are having fun doing the thing that I love most. Is this affecting my grades cause my grades went lower than last year's?
 
Yes. There is a direct correlation between grades and a positive attitude that comes from the self-confidence of playing basketball. The more confident you the higher grades you will get. Tell that to your parents.
