Ok, i have a few questions, 1-) "if there are 3 rooms in a dormitory, a single, a double, and a quad. How many ways are there to assign 7 people to the rooms?" well i thought that it would just be 7*6*4, but i'm not sure, if someone could confirm this that would be awesome
ok second question 2-) a group of soldiers contains 3 officers, 6 sargent's, and 30 privates. How many ways can a team be formed consisting of 1 officer, 2 sargent's, and 20 privates? (answer must be left in terms of binomial coefficients)
3-) How many distinct arrangements are there of the letters in the word TOOWOOMBA?
4-) what is the coefficient of x^4 in the expansion of (3x - 1)^9 ?
I'm really bad at maths ha, so if you guys could help me out i'd love you
is it possible to add more detail to your answers? i wont learn if you don't show me how you got to those conclusions
thanks guys
