Hey everyone im new to this but but my questions goes out to mainly the wives but also anyone that can help as i have a pretty broad question. It looks as though my partner has been accepted into the army and i was just wondering what i have gotten myself into!
i am extremely happy for him and i would never try to change his mind but what have i gotten myself into? At first i was very excited, however lately people have been saying "how do you feel about this?" "Are you sure you want a husband that you will never see?"
I was just wondering how often will i see my partner and if he is relocated am i allowed to go with him? he has told me that training for the military police is only three weeks long and if he is posted anywhere that i will be going as well. Just wanting to confirm this, the pay and all other details for the families.
Thanks

No we are part of the Australian Army.
And yes we are not married, so due to the fact that we are not (even though i am dependent upon his income due to studies) i dont exist to the army? Meaning that iwill not be entitled to the things wives get? This sounds like bad news but im really not sure?
