Hey, I have a spanish midterm today and am having trouble with some of my culture questions, can someone help? All i need to know is if the statements are true or false.

1. mexico is known for the Dia de Las mascara Festival
2. in hatillo, puerto rico they celebrate a turtle with parades
3. jamaica is known for its caribbean celebrations (no clue why this is on the study guide lol)
4. the bosque nacional is found in cuba.
5. mexico is where one can see an aztec pyramid
6. the governor of puerto rico lives in the palacio de santa catalina
7. buddhism has been a domanate religion in many spanish speaking countries..

thanks so much for any help!

I dont know about mexico, but puerto rico does not celebrate nothing with turtles, and el bosque nacional called (el yunque) is in puerto rico not mexico and the governor of puerto rico does not live in that place, he lives en el capitolio de san juan.

they're all trick questions... none of those are spanish cultures.

DISCLAIMER...these could ALL BE WRONG (and I'm guessing you meant Hispanic culture)
1. I think false, I'm thinking of Dia de los muertos
2. i saw nothing on celebrating a turtle with parades
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatillo,_Puerto_Rico#Festivals_and_events
3. true...I think, actually I have no idea (not sure how it applies either lol)
4. false, it's in mexico
5. true
6. true - La Fortaleza
7. false, i'd think Catholicism

But check Wikipedia to be sure, especially for number 3 and number 7 because I'm definantely not sure on them.
