If anyone has some time on their hands ,can anyone please answer these questions for my sociology interview project ? And include as much detail as you can? Thank you!!
1.Do you feel that you identify more with people of the same ethnicity as you? Why or why not?
2.Growing up, did your parents ever talk about race with you and explain how it affected your attitude about other races (if they talked about it or not)?
3. Do you think avoiding discussing about race and ignoring racism is just making the problem worse? Why or why not?
4. Do you think diversity brings people of different cultures closer together or that it creates more division among races? For example in a school.
5. Have you ever made assumptions about what type of person someone is based on their appearance (skin colour,weight,hair) before you got to know them? Why do you think you made those assumptions? IF you did get to know them, were your assumptions proved wrong?
6. Considering all the friendships you've had, did your interracial friendships last shorter than your friendships with people of the same race or is it the other way around? Explain whether or not race had to do with it.
