Hello All,
Ok so just a little bit of background on me; I am a 20 yr old female, I weigh about 121 lbs. Diabetes, high blood pressure and sugar run in m y family. Currently I do little to no activity. I eat kinda bad but not really bad.
For example I do not drink any thing other than water and milk. I hardly ever eat sweets. My salt intake is probably at a medium level. I hardly ever eat fast foods, (taco bell is my weakness only) I don't eat too much fried food. I also love meat of course and my fav meat is ground beef but I like fish, chicken, tuna etc. I do not eat any pork though. I do love dairy (sour cream, cheese, ranch etc.). I love fruit & vegetables though and eat lots of yogurt and fruits for breakfast. BUT my ultimate weakness is PASTA and BREAD.
So here's my question I have decided to become more active of course for my health and to tone my body as well. Also I would like to start eating better as well. So my question is what stuff should I cut out all together to maintain a good weight and for my overall health. What can I afford to eat but in moderation? And what healthier choices can I substitute certain of those foods I love with?
Thanks all for your help and advice. Much appreciated
