I want to become a high ranking officer in the military, right now I am only a sopomore in high school, but I have asthma and would never be able to be in the infantry, but I am extremely smart in history and battle tactics. At least, whenever I paintball or airsoft, I always go solo against more than 1 person, and usually beat them. I also go deer hunting and so I have that experience too that add to my skill. Also I have always been smart about when I play a video game like Call of Duty, like whenever I am going to plant the bomb at target A, I will throw a smoke grenade at target B and create a diversion.
What I want to know is, what will I need to do in order to start out at such a high rank? My GPA for freshmen year was 3.558, it would have been higher but I got a C in spanish both semesters. Would I be able to get into west pointe if I brought my grades up a little? And by the way I am in Honors Science, and Algebra 2 (1 Year ahead of everyone else my age). I am constantly watching the military channel, and I love history and everything. I watch it everyday. I don't watch any other channel. No one in my family is in the military, but my granda was in the army corps of engineers. And my other grandpa was in the reserve. But thats about it.
Help Please?
I understand that I will need to go to college. I plan on doing running start, I will have my associate's degree by the time I am out of high school.
But i plan on going to UW or another college to get a higher degree and maybe transfer to west pointe, but I need know everything in order to know what I am going to do.
wow, i was saying that I do stuff on the video game that is like tactical.
I am saying that I am good at like leading my friends and stuff. You don't have to attack me. When I go shooting I have a 2-inch group at 100 yards with my mauser. I am just saying I understand tactical stuff. I am not saying just because I can rocket launcher someone on a video game means I am good cause I suck at video games. I am just saying that I am good at organizing my team. I understand that people can be good at shooting guns on video games but wouldn't be able to operate a bolt-action in real life. I am different.
my asthma is bad, I played jv tennis last year and freshmen team baseball last year too, but I injured my arm and can't play for the rest of my life. My arm is fine unless I throw a baseball really fast. I can't run with 200 pounds of gear on, while carrying a 6-10 pounds rifle in my hands.
Well actually I do have 4 Marines in my family, 2 active, one is a recruiter, for right now anyway.
