Questions about how people decide which phone to purchase?

Hi!

I'm doing a project in school about people's mobile phone purchasing decisions. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking 5 minutes to complete a survey for us about your purchasing decisions: http://queensbusiness.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_8FTZSz88o0GYvU8

I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you SO much!

They should be looking at service first, then features then price.

One should first find the carrier that has the best service where they will use the device, where they live, work, travel and play. Once that is decided, list the features they need and then the ones they want and go to the selected carrier's store to check out which ones fit their needs. Then take one for a trial run and see how it works.

That said, in actuality, most just think they want a cool phone, such as the iPhone, 'Droid, etc. and go to the carrier that has the best price for that particular device, without regard for whether the carrier has adequate service where they plan to use it.
