Questions about Everlost (book)?

I read Unwind by Neal Shusterman and I liked it so now I wanna read something else by him. I was thinking Everlost, it seemed cool. So now I have some questions about it.
Does it have any romance? Cause in Unwind there was just a little bit of romance, not much.
Is it slow or fast paced?

Oh, and I think someone said that Nick and Allie were 14? Is that right? If not then how old?
 
I loved Unwind, too, so I picked up Everlost. However, I didn't get through Everlost. There is no romance, as the characters are much younger (11 and 12, I think).
Yeah, Unwind was much better than Everlost.
