Questions About a Nextel Phones with GSM Software, is it possible

Yeah i have a nextel phone and i want to know is it possibile to erase the Nextel Motorola software off it and put a GSM providers software on it, and have all the functions work.

No, Will not work. Its still iDEN technology and you cant even flash non iDEN software onto a iDEN phone. Just wouldnt work.
