Questions about a 1967 Ford Falcon.?

I'm 15 and my dad got me a 1967 Ford Falcon Futura Sports Coupe to fix up for my first car. Is this a rare car? How fast will it go with it's original 289 with a Holley 2 barrel carb? It has a 3 speed on the column, weighs roughly 2500 pounds, and all of parts and original, if that helps. Lastly are there any people who have had any experiences or things I should know about this car. Thanks in advance.
 
My ex boyfriend had a Ford Falcon. I think it was a 1969, but it could have been anywhere from 65-69.

It had a ton of problems, he was always replacing something just because it was old. But it was a beautiful car, and it was a freaking tank. You don't have to worry about getting injured in a car accident when you drive a Falcon.
