Hi, I am doing a questionnaire for my university sociology class, and as you can see my topic of choice is "what do guys look for in a girl they want to date?"

1) Do you usually want to date someone you know well like a friend, or someone you just met/have no previous relationship with?
1.2) and why? what would make you want to date a friend? is it the comfort of a pre-established relationship? What makes you choose a girl you don't know? Do you aim to be friends first or ask right away?
2) Do you consider females outside of your social group? This question you could take in meaning of your general interests/activities, or in terms of jock, artsy, skater or what have you.
3) What do you usually notice about a girl in a general sense? a girl your interested in? Do the two differentiate? Do you go for personality? Looks? Both?
3.1)If you go for personality, what is a must, and what makes you say no? ex; sense of humor (does she have any?), can she appreciate a joke (done on her or otherwise?), honesty, jealous, flirty, considerate...
3.2) If you go for looks, what is a must, and what makes you say no? ex; height, weight, eye/hair color, ethnicity, how she dresses...
3.3) If you choose both, does one matter more to you? if so which?
4) Do you prefer girls to make the first move? or do you prefer to make the move on your terms?
5) What are some cue's from the girl you would look for in order to tell if she is interested? ex; smile, stance (is she comfortable with you), # of times she blinks, flirts...
6) Does who she is friends with play a part in whether you would to date her or not? Do you like/hate them?
7) Do your friends opinions on her play a part in whether you would date her or not? Do they like/hate her?
8) Out of the examples to follow which would you be most likely to choose(date). Rate them in order of MOST LIKELY to LEAST LIKELY. Would your choices change if they were your friend or if they were a stranger?
