I have the opportunity to buy an older honda generator, EX1000. It has had hardly any use, is in great shape and the price is low. My other option is a new Honda EU 1000 I with inverter technology. I am familiar with the inverter technology and have no reason to need it other than the lighter weight . I am curious about the durability of the older technology vs new. Any one had any long term use of these generators? Thanks.
