Question on warranty service on Nokia N95

I wonder if I would get 1 yr warranty service from Nokia USA if I purchase a Nokia N95 through Amazon direct (not from some sellers selling in Amazon).

Any good / bad experiences about purchasing a high-end unlocked cell phone through Amazon?
 
I did purchase a Nokia Silver/Plum N73 one time thru Amazon and what I received is a sealed APAC version of the N73, therefore, Nokia USA can't do any sort of warranty repairs on that since that it is Asian made. I'm not saying that it will be another APAC version of it when you buy an N95 thru them, just keep in mind, even if you did purchase, you have 30 days to return it if it's not a USA version. I purchase a lot of stuff thru Amazon.com because of my Prime membership and the 30 day return policy and Customer service is great!
 
I bought a N95 from Amazon last week and it is the US version. The warranty sheet has the US contact information and I confirmed the IMEI with Nokia USA that it has a one year warranty. Since Amazon sources their phones from many locations, the one they send you may not be the US version but as earpon said, you can always return a phone to Amazon within 30 days without any restocking fee even if opened.
 
I looked up the N95 from amazon and I found out there have few sellers.

I assume if I buy it from one of the sellers, rather than from Amazon direct, I don't get the 30 days money back; or depending on the return policy from those sellers. right?

Thanks for your input and I might just wait a while. I hope the price will go down a bit. It is still expensive.
