question about speech. I have a friend who is from India that speaks the language Punjabi, and for one thing, I am really amazed at how she is able to speak to me with the very proper English words and also, she can speak her sentences speedily without fumbling in her words. I was just impressed that she can think of the right words on the spot. But as for me, i can stop in the middle of my sentences often when i speak, even though i read often i just can't maintain an effusive flow of words without halting at some point, and i had been in this country for more than this friend of mine. I just find this kinda mysterious,,,if anyone knows, assuming it's the right place to ask this in this section, is the speech region of the brain different in everyone in terms of how their words translate in the verbal form regardless of how much you spend time in literature? Cause i even asked her if she reads often, and she said no. So i wonder if it's just a property of her brain that's different from mine or if it's just her memory being so good that it recalls words on the spot. So i'm guessing, it could be memory, or just my weird speech processing. I will add, even one of my friends told me that sometimes when i try to say something, he can tell that what i'm trying to say is still being processed, like my mouth is doing something that's still not finished in the business of my brain's part.
