I have connected one side of this amp bridged to a V1 w6 with no problems but my question is. This amp is bascially 2 amps in one. it has 2 seperate gains and bass boost. Would it be safe to connect the entire amp to the W6v2 if I did a parallel on the sub? And if so How should I go about connecting it? The specs for the amp are as follows. Thanks
4-Channel ZX-Series Power Amplifier
Low Impedance Operation
SORT Protection Circuitry (Short circuit, Over-voltage, Reverse polarity, Thermal)
MOSFET Power Supply
KickBass: 0-18 dB @ 40 Hz
Built-In VarLow-Pass operation (50-200 Hz)
High & Low level inputs
Custom tooled gold plated connectors
SAMS (Stereo And Mono Simultaneously) bridged mono load and a stereo load at the same time
Cast aluminum EndKaps
RMS Power Ratings:
175 watts x 4 chan. @ 4 ohms
215 watts x 4 chan. @ 2 ohms
425 watts x 2 chan. @ 4 ohms
Input gain control: Low Level (125mV - 5V), High Level (250mV - 10V
Oh, and Im not worried about heat as I have cut and installed two computer fans on either side of the amp so it has plenty of air flow.
Thanks tim for the advice, but I need to know what connections to make on the amp its self and if I can connect EACH side of the amp to the sub. I understand how ohms work on subs, im not to clear on the amp side though
