question on ethics regarding a test?

so today in science class i recided an 88. this is much higher as my highschools average is a c+. another boyn in my class recieved a 66 and as a result the teacher told him he could do extra credit for 15 points. these 15 points would boost his grade up very close to mine even though i understoid much more matrerial then he did. he is the only kid who is allowed to do it simply because the tweacher randomly choose him. how can i make a valid argument that this is simply unfate which is not acceptable in the grading world. it was a big test, and this is completely ridiculous andmakes him look better then me. iam deeply upset by the principle.

I would definitely go to a school official and tell them what is going on.
