Sorry if this seems like a dumb/simple question, but I was always horrible at anything to do with electronics so yeah =p
Given a lamp (or any other electrical component) with a known voltage, wattage, current, whatever, how does one determine the correct specifications for a power source, and any other components needed, and their specifications?
Again, I'm sorry about the vagueness of the question... I just hope you know what I mean.
From what I've been able to work out, it's based on the desired level of light output, or something? I imagine that'd be measured in watts?
