What does this mean?

Evil has a new face in modern day US and that is Islamic terrorism. Most rational people acknowledge that not all Muslims are evil, nor wish the destruction of the US or even support the horrific actions of the minority of Islamic extremists. However an easily manipulated and excitable minority is not capable of differentiating between the two and will justify any actions to eradicate those they now view as a threat. They will ignore all facts and critical thinking and decry anyone who tries to tell them otherwise. They will support all government action against this group so long as their chosen party is in power and will always view them as a threat to their existence.

When people have been manipulated into thinking this way they will ignore all other problems and ignore all reasoning for the terrorists actions. They will ignore and deny the actions of their government that caused this rogue band of Muslims to turn to terrorism. They will believe they hate for us our freedom and that they will never stop hating us. When the people are sufficiently distracted with a real but controllable threat blown out of proportion they will all but ignore and condone any action their government takes in the name of eliminating that threat even at future harm to their own liberties and freedoms. They will in essence give away the very freedoms they believe the terrorists hate us for little by little under the false pretense of protection.

The terrorists are not from mainline Muslims but from Muslim extremists. The problem is there is an awful lot of Muslim extremists.

The muslim who are blowing themselves up are pawns in a power struggle with the political structure in the Middle East.

Talibans and other extreme religious nutbags see the world moving away from religion and traditional culture and want to violently hold onto the customs of the past.

They also want to get a hold of the oil so they can get the kind of money needed to build a nuclear bomb so they can destroy Israel.
