Question on breeding betta fish?

I have a male betta fish and a female betta fish. She looks now fat and full of eggs. But the male is making a bubble nest in his tank. (they are separated) But his tank is to small for babies! Should I move him to my 10 gallon and make him re-due his nest for another week?
Any advice will be thankful.

yes do that but be careful and try maybe putting a divider there..
