...while dancing? Did you ever notice that a certain amount of girls who dance in competitions or exhibitions wear long gloves. I'd like to have the comments of the girls who dance and who also wear long gloves. Is it your own decision or is it advised (or imposed?) by someone else? Are there rules regarding the use of gloves in dance competitions? Has it ever been a problem for you when dancing? Did you ever loose your grip because of them? And if so, do you have some "tricks" or techniques to avoid this? Do you, for instance, train with them on, to get a better grip?

Thank you in advance for all your (serious) comments!

Yes I wear them. It was not my decision to wear them because i was made a costume for my dance! No i don't think i've ever come across any rules. They can be a problem though when they slide down your arm because the elastic isn't strong enough. No the silk ones are the ones you loose your grip with but my trainer put some grippy stuff on the palms of the gloves. They worked a treat.
