...in Education? I am an undergraduate student who is not majoring in CSD, but recently discovered an interest for that field and would like to go into speech pathology.

There are two graduate programs that I am highly interest in, both which prepares students to become licensed and CAA accredited speech pathologists. The thing is, students emerge from both with different degrees:

1. M.A. in Communicative Disorders, Speech-language pathology option
2. M.A. in Education, concentration Speech Pathology degree

Do these degree titles differ in any way upon applying for positions after graduation? I'm wondering if there is a difference in these titles, and if one sounds (or is) more prestigious than the other. I'd like to know what you professionals have to say -- thanks!
