Question for N93 owners: Sosial reaction to the N93

So I killed my N80 and will probably be getting another N80 or better yet the N93.
So I'm wondering about the N93 and its huge size.
So the question for N93 owners, what do others say when they see the N93? Do they comment on the size?
And how does such a huge phone feel working with it on your daily usage, any regrets?

I'm asking because don't want to regret getting the N93....and so still thinking about getting a new N80.

its not that big or heavy. yes people comment on how big it is, but thats only because its a clamshell. some pocketpc phones like the ipaq 6315 are even bigger. and i had an n80 before - size wise its bigger than the n80 but you get used to it. all in all the n80 is better for web browsing and general usage because of the huge screen, but the n93 i like because i can record decent videos and watch full motion QVGA movies at 30fps without buying any extra software.

it's not that heavy, but it is HUGE even in my standards (i haev used 3650, ngage, p900, p910...) It's not so bad once u get used to it thou. Especially with its functions

wait for the N95..5meg camera and built in GPS..I think the N93 at this point would be a huge mistake unless the market price plummets......and i doubt it will

When people see me take it out to make phone calls, they say, "wow that thing is huge!" Then when I'm done with the phone call and swivel it into the camera, they say, "WHOA... what is hot!"

It's really popular when I take it out at the club with friends. The girls especially like dancing in front of it.

Ofcourse I will be getting the N95, but as part of my warranty I'm entitled to a new phone.....and the N93 seems to offer more then the N80....but the size is the problem.
I'm leaning on the N93 right now.

Lol! that's what I wanted to hear. I like phones that make a statement and are eye-catching to others (in a positive way).....did you get any really bad or negative remark?

Any owner that have gotten bad or negative remarks?

Other than the size, I haven't gotten any bad remark. When I'm checking GMail in school using laptop mode, the people behind me can't help but stare. Also, using the camcorder mode at night with the LEDs on is very eye-catching.

Bad thing about it is that sometimes you want to get something on video without people knowing. That's impossible with the N93!

Looking forward to the Nokia N95!

Aw, you don't want the other kids to make fun of you for your big phone! That's sweet.

I'd say get it, especially coming from the N80. It'll give you a good taste of the speed of the N95.

Get it in black, too. Black's sexy.

Edit: The screen on the N93 is the same as the N73, thus HUGE and noticeably bigger than the N80's.

one simple word. resolution resolution RESOLUTION. the N80 is 352x416. the n93 is 240x320. so the N80 used vertically straight up can still show more of a webpage than the N93 can do horizontally. that's my biggest gripe with tne n93 - not the size of the phone, but the resolution of the damn screen. bigger screen is NOT better if it cant push as many pixels.

Well I guess that's really subjective. Opera uses various zoom levels, so I can decide how much I want to see on my screen at any given time. Try using that larger screen and then going back to something like the N80. You'll feel like you've grown ten feet tall.

yea me personally i like the small text - the smaller the better. opera is cool to make the text small to fit more on the screen, but there is no way to shrink the pictures. thats why i think the nokia browser is better.

wel, to report back. The Phone is smaller than what I thought it would. After using it for about 2 weeks you don't really feel it's big unless you compare it to other phones.
And as for other peoples reaction, I didn't get the "that's big" comment.
Most of them were like asking what it was and how cool that it can change in so many forms. Very nice phone and a huge attention-getter.
