Question for guys: If your friend(male) confessed that he was raped...?

It could be any case, like when he was young or he was drunk or whatever. By male or female. How do you go about this? I know a good majority of guys would not report this to the authorities because it would only cut the wound deeper. What would you do if you were the friend of the victim?

Also, how would you feel about our friend then? Would you pity or get disgusted by him? Would you consider cutting ties with him... like, not be his friend anymore? Share your thoughts, please.

And as much as possible, please no "men don't get raped" crap. Just because they don't make a movie about it or feature it on CSI doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
 
If one of my friends went through this, I would respect his feelings. I would encourage him to report it, but if he doesn't want to, I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. The LAST thing I would do is cut ties with him; people who go through things like rape need support more than anything, and it would be wrong and absurd to simply cut ties with him just because he got raped.
