Yo i got this friend of mine, and hes claiming his dodge stealth can do 212 mph.
I think hes full of shit, i don't see how a 3.0 liter car can go that fast, i understand its turbocharged, but hes claims with modifications hes putting out 390hp, he also has a 150hp nitrous system installed
What do you think? is it possible? With stock gear ratios? wouldn't the gear ratios ALONE prevent him from doing it because it will hit red-line before it hits 212?
Its my understanding that at you wish to achieve higher and higher speeds, the amount of power required increases exponentially, i also understand that a very aerodynamic car will achieve higher top speeds with less power.
It seems plausible since the stealth is very low and sleek, but there are many Ferrari's and Lamborghini's that don't do 200 mph and they produce wayyy more than 390hp, or even 540hp.
Hes willing to bet money on it, and im considering taking him up on the bet, i told him that his speedo is probably inaccurate, and that hes not really going that fast and i will radar him for the bet.
