Question for Cricket Dealers?

because people are idiots and don't want to learn. think of it as programming a remote control. most people don't bother reprogramming it, and are willing to pay someone to reprogram it so it can be used on 3-4 devices.

WOW don't you feel as though your raping your customers?.375.00 for a 40.00 phone and ten mins of time for almost 10x what was paid for it.i could understand a gps enabled 6800 but a 6700.i understand you want to make money but...wornder how much you sell 6800 or 6900 600.00?

Plus they would have to find the right software for their phone (most phones are different) and learn how to use it, and most likely pay a lot for the software unless they take the extra time to search for it on the internet and get it for free. It's not that easy. It took me about a month of searching before I fully flashed my first phone (LG VX8300 with WAP and MMS) because i didn't know where to look or how to search efficiently.

umm last i checked the 6700 was not $40... but besides he can really sell it for as much as he wants. if someone wants to pay him $XXX then why shouldn't he.

anyways... back to the original derailment of this thread...
your guys nurabers are all off.. at least my contract is significantly different. all new phones too cpe/reacts don't count towarRAB that nuraber.

and back to the original topic.. the big thing with flashing is you don't have to have inventory. if you flash 10 phones and sell 10 phones you presumably make about the same profit, but you have almost no investment to flash. ~$50 of cables and a windows computer with the right software is all you need. there's no inventory to lose or be stolen, you'll never be "out of stock" on the ability to flash as long as you have the cable.

I run a indirect dealer for Sprint/Nextel and also have a contract through Cricket. Though we dont do too much Cricket (25-30 lines a month) I am gearing up to utilize the extra space in my store for strictly Cricket flashing and "Crickt" phones. One of my vendors has a special on a bunch of prepaid verizons and I think with some time our store could make a killing on them. Our location in town (Colorado Springs) is perfect for the type of clientelle that Cricket attracts.

I project more profit on flashed/non-cricket branded phones than on brnded units from BrightPoint. The profit margins are much greater flashing, and although it maty cost a bit more to get started without the first month, the majority of customers would rather have a igher quality phone than what cricket offers

BTW... i might be looking for someone for a part-time job in store flashing and selling cricket phones. lemme know if interested. (CO People Only)

I just bought a Audiovox 8910 from a guy i work with. Its never been activated and says programing needed. He said he checked with a cricket store and its never been activated and has a good esn on it. So my question is if i put on my account can i get insurance on it? Because it has never been activated!

cricket sold them as refurb phones for 25 bucks 30 day money back but no insure / what is the process to becoming a authorized cricket dealer or any carrier for real fellows for the people who want to go mainstream instead of out of the home because i'm very interest i already can get phones. sprint mostley clean esn and everything and how much do you'll pay for the phone in ya'll store to corpate after it's all said n done
