Question. Adding a second HD receiver

This is probably a fairly basic question but...

I have am currently receiving HD through a single 6100 receiver. No other receivers in the house. I want to add a second 6100.
Looking at my dish there appears to be 2 cables from from each LNB and they join at the back of dish (2 input, 1 output) into a single cable that comes into the house and goes directly to the 6100 receiver.
So, I want to add a second receiver. Do I need to run extra cable(s) from the dish into the house now? Or can I do something with the single cable coming in now that is already carrying HD?

you need a new cable from the switch
