I am getting the HTC Thunderbolt when it comes out new from Verizon, and I know that even though I'm an existing customer it's going to extend my plan 2 years, but I was wondering if I decided to change back to my old phone, which does not require a data package, would I be able to stop paying per month for the data. So basically what I'm asking is am I comitted to the data plan for 2 years if I buy the smartphone from Verizon, or can I switch back to my old phone and stop paying the internet fees if I choose to. Please only answer if you know for sure because I really don't want to make a mistake. Thanks in advance!!!
