Question about vegan lifestyle choices?

I know how to eat like a vegan, I even know vegans don't go to zoos because of the exploitation of animals. But I do have some other questions.

1) Is riding a horse considered exploitation?
2) Can vegans wear pearls since they are made by fish and you kill an oyster when you get the pearl out?

Thanks!

It depends on the person and how far they want to go with their veganism

well I'm vegan and I used to go horseback riding (I stopped because it was costly), but I don't think it's considered exploitation. I just think it's cruel when the horses are mistreated.
And I'm guessing most vegans would not wear pearls (real ones of course) because that would be exploiting the oyster simply to make a fashion statement, but that's how I personally see it and I obviously can't speak for all vegans.
:D good question and hope I helped

I am not a vegan but I think those are choices made by the person. Not every vegan doesn't go to Zoo's. My friend works at a zoo and she is a vegan. As for the pearls I think that is a personal decision.

1.It may, depending on who you ask.Personally, I am undecided on that issue.

2.No.Vegans to not eat, wear or use any animal by product.Of course, this is an exception when it comes to medication and certain unavoidable aspects. But seeing on how pearls are generally used to make a fashion statement, then they should be avoided.
