Couldnt find much Info online about it I saw a few armed forces championship fights on youtube. Any info or tips please
lol No i did not join the Army just to Box I could have just done that in the regular world I just want to do it in while im in I love boxing
As far as my experience like I said I have been boxing for 2 years and have been in plenty of tournaments An I have fought and sparred with plenty of Golden Glove and National champs So I am ready to compete with the best and work my way up from scratch

Forget joining the army boxing team,

I don't know where you get the idea you could make the team.

To be a member of the Army Boxing team you have to do one of the following.

You have to finish in the top 8 at the US National Championships
Finish at the top 8 in the Olympic trial
Finish in the top 8 at the US National Golden Gloves Championship.

Now you might be able to make your Post boxing team, but even the Post teams are hard to make, since there are plenty of State Golden Glove champions on most Post Boxing teams.

You are seriously under estimating the level of boxing competition in the US Army.

Don't tell me you joined the Army just to box?

EDIT: Oh, okay. Well, I'm not too sure how to get into it. You'll also get your hands into some Army Combatives. Pretty much Brazilian Ju Jitsu...breaks, chokes, and submissions.

be careful I knew a SGT who was a printer and he was alos on the bosing team, he got kind of weird later, too many boxes to the head and started seeing monkeys and such and walking funny, he got out on a medical discharge, i felt sorry for him.

That is part of the WCAP (World Class Army Program) located in FT. Carson, Colorado. You might want to locate a phone number for there offices or ask your recruiter if the WCAP has a recruiter that you can try out for. Good Luck
