Question about transferring to a 4 year college?

I currently go to a community college and my major is "liberal arts-science transfer" because I would like to transfer to a 4 year school and get my bachelors of science in biology/biomedicine. I am doing the whole joint admissions thing so I know all of the required courses that I have to take in order to graduate from the community college & have them transfer to the 4 year college. My question is: can I continue to take classes at the community college that are required to graduate the 4 year college? I know that there is a maximum number of credits that can be transferred, but if I graduate from the community college can I go back and continue to take classes for the 4 year school?
