I recently bout a 2005 Toyota matrix wit 99,000 miles. It was my first time buying a car. They originally wanted 10 for it but I talked them down to 8 with 1000 $ trade-in an 1000$ cash back so in all it cost me 7,000 an something after taxes and everything. It's very clean the only thing visibly wrong is the rear bumper is cracked. In your opinion was that a good deal? Also how are Toyotas? Do they get good mileage, do they last a long time? I was a little nervous buying a car with so many miles on it, the dealership was trying to reassure me by saying that they cam get up to 300+ miles before needing any major repairs, is that true? Any info about Toyota matrix or Toyota in general would be appreciated.
