question about the web on my tmobile phone?

i just bought the samsung vibrant from t-mobile and i am using it with the wifi because i didn't purchase the unlimited web browsing plan.

i downloaded the facebook for android which is free.
is it charging me while i'm using it, because i'm using the internet on my phone.

or is it okay because i'm using wifi?
