Okay so my sister recently got the sidekick 4G and has downloaded the handcent texting app instead of using the messaging system that comes with the phone. So the problem is that after turning off the notification for the phones messaging system it still has the 1 above the app stating that she has a message. How does she get that to go away? I have the same handcent app on my phone and it works perfectly for me and I have no problems with the original messaging system. What do we do to fix it? Please help, thank you in advance. 
She has done that but the 1 is still on the stock sms app even after she opened handcent and read the message.
