Alright. So, my dad got an iphone. I tried it out, I love it. i want to get one myself. But, a couple of things concern me.
First thing is, I'm already on a contract. (It's 35 bucks a month, not data, 3 year) i am on bell with a bell sim card (yes, they switched from cdma to gsm). I know if I take my sim card out of my phone and put it in the iphone, it'll work, but my question is....do I have to change my plan?
According to my dad, he said when he wanted to buy the iphone itself, it would be 600 bucks. but even then, the representative at bell said my dad would have no choice but to switch his regular plan to a data plan (for the Iphone, it's 70 bucks and up every month). I think they are just trying to get more money out of me.
My dad did switch to iPhone, but got a new contract. Now, back on subject.
But can I use the iphone with my current plan (Recall: it's $35 a month, and not a data plan. i can't afford a data plan.)
