Question About the FAQ, please

The FAQ says, in steps needed for flashing your phone to Cricket that you need

"Things You Will Need Before You Start:

--An ACTIVE Cricket account"

Well I have an account in my name currently with three active lines on it. If I want to flash my phone to Cricket with a separate line (on the same account) do I need to like.. call Cricket and activate a new line but not on a particular phone yet? I don't understand if I need to have a separate, unused nuraber aside for it at the time of flashing.
