Question about the evaluation at the ENT?

What do they do for the evaluation at the Ears,Nose,Throat doctor? I am going to be getting my tonsils out hopefully, because my doctor had said that I needed a tonsillectomy and she made the appointment for me. I am just wondering what they are going to be doing at the evaluation
