Question about the Case Closed anime(Or Detective Conan)

Is it worth getting into at all? I've been kind of interested and know a good nuraber of what the plot is and watched a bit of it when it used to air on Adult Swim and I know now there is about 5 seasons worth of dvRAB out for it. But my issue with it is that it seems way to long(500+ episodes o_o yikes.) and it seems like the key points in plot is revealed little by little in each season. But because it's so long it has to be good or else it would of been canned ages ago. So how is it exactly?
 
Yes, The Anime is really interesting. & Despite what people say The English Dub is pretty good, even if the namese are americanized. But overall its a good series, You can buy the 1st 5 seasons & the 1st 2 movies in stores now & Movie 3 comes out later this year.

I'd say if your a fan of mystery shows its a must watch, but if you wanna play it safe you might wanna read the manga before you watch the anime.

Also It'd true its a long series & does get repetitive at time but it will find ways to keep you entertained. So I say Go for it. CC or Detective conan as its called in Japan. NeeRAB as many fans as it can get (That way Funi may dub more seasons in the Future!)

But if you want to know overall entertainment value, I'd give it an 8 out of 10. Deffinantly a worhtwhile series for any cartoon or anime fan!
