So, i just got a new girl hamster the other day at a pet store =] shes so cute and i adore her. i dont remember the type of hamster, but im pretty sure it started with an S and it was long. we chose her type because the pet worker guy said they were less aggressive then dwarfs and such.. anywho, i've had her for about 3 days now. and i've been watching her to see how she acts. when i pick her up, she doesn't bite but is very energetic and likes to squirm a lot. also, when she is in her cage she likes to burrow a lot, which is normal. but when she is under the sawdust i see her shaking and at times i hear her like teeth chatter or it sounds like maybe shes chewing on something? i just want to see if this is normal for hamsters to do so... also, during the early hours of the morning when she is energetic she will climb up the wires of the cage and literally walk all over the cage and then fall or jump down.. is that normal? lol idk i just want to know if my hamsters okay ;o thanks so much in advanced..
she also squeaks a lot. not a loud squeak, but a squeak. not all the time, but sometimes she will and it sounds like an angry squeak but im not sure ahhh someone help me, is she ok??
