Question about Telus Mobility / Blackberry Curve 3G?

Hi there. I am in a 3 year contract with Telus, and my contract ends this July. (it's September.) and I do not like my phone anymore. It is an old flip phone, and I am now into more technology. The phone I would like to get is a Blackberry Curve 3G ( http://na.blackberry.com/devices/blackberrycurve3G/ ) but I would have to buy it, am I right? I don't want to spend $329.99 on this phone right now, I don't have the money. Is there any way of me being able to get it without spending THAT much money? A couple hundred is my limit. Is there a way of me being able to maybe influence them into giving it to me for cheaper? Thank you.

If you call Telus and tell them you want to upgrade your phone, they will give you $150 off a new phone, on the condition you sign another 3 year contract. I did this, and totally regret it.

EDIT*** BECAUSE YOU ASKED IF ANYONE KNEW HOW TO SAVE MONEY.....................
