Question about target brand '+''-' pregnancy test?

I just took a target brand pregnancy test. It was the kind of test where '+' means positive and '-' means negative. After the 3mins elapsed I took apart the test to see the strip more clearly. Instead of there being a '+' sign it looked more like this 'l -' two lines, one vertical one horizontal but not overlaping in the results window. This would be an invalid result wouldn't it?
 
Yes- it's an invalid result. The "-" part of the test shows that it is wet/working. The "|" part is the HCG detector. I'd take another!
