Question about Streetfighting a Yamaha XJ600s motorbike?

I am trying to turn a 1993 XJ 600 s into a street fighter motorbike and i would like to ask two questions.

1) I'd Like to fit an R1 fuel tank as the shape of the tank is very appealing to me and my question is will any yamaha tank be adjustable to any yamaha frame such as the XJ 600 s? if not then what would be the necessary steps to make it fit?

2) i would also like to have a single swing arm fitted on therefore is there any yamaha single swing arm that can be ideal to fit straight onto my frame? I would also like to have a bigger tire on the back and believe that most swing arms come in a standard size 190 tires so if i was to have anything larger than that what would the necessary steps be?!?!?!?

The chances of the R1 tank dropping onto the XJ's backbone frame without extensive modification are slim to none. So are the odds of any late swing arm slotting into your frame.

There is no blueprint for the kind of mods you are talking about. You have to call on your own ingenuity and skill as a fabricator. Good luck in your endeavor.

Skip this place and go to www.xjbikes.com the guys in that forum know everything there is to know about heavy modification on the XJ bikes. They have always been very friendly and informative when I asked them questions.
